Brunch by fairy light at Dalloway Terrace.

My friend Dan and I love to try new places for our catch ups. We recently had a great day out bottomless brunching at Sea Containers on the Southbank (I somehow lost all my photos from that day, cry!) and we also had the best time boating at R.S. Hispaniola back in summer. This Saturday we decided to head to the hottest brunch place of the moment, Dalloway Terrace.

Dalloway Terrace is part of The Bloomsbury Hotel and is located in central London, a few minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road Station. On a Saturday, the area is absolutely packed with crowds but we found an peaceful oasis hidden away at Dalloway Terrace.

The restaurant describes itself as “one of the most instagrammable restaurants in London” and it’s not wrong – the whole place is gorgeous! I can imagine the Terrace would have been a great spot to visit in the summer months, but it’s been decked out for winter too with blankets and heaters so we got to feel like we were almost experiencing al-fresco dining without freezing!

The Terrace runs across the front of the building and is decorated throughout with beautiful white flowers, greenery and fairy lights. It’s a truly special place and the interior design is unrivalled. I can definitely understand why this spot has received so much Instagram coverage! It also has a really cute basement area.

We absolutely loved the vibe straightaway and started to check out the menu over a latté and a pot of Earl Grey. There’s a bottomless brunch option available, with skinny prosecco which sounds exciting, but we didn’t take advantage of this (shocking I know!) as we both had places to be in the afternoon and bottomless is always dangerous!

The weekend brunch menu at Dalloway has a selection of different dishes ranging from Granola and Pancakes to the standard London brunch staples like Eggs Benedict. There’s definitely something to suit all tastes.

I eventually decided on my old favourite Eggs Royale (with a side of avocado because, London) whilst Dan went for the Avocado and Tomatoes on sourdough toast. Both dishes were fab, full of flavour and perfect portion sizes. We both also had serious food envy when the next table were served their Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes which looked to die for too.

This is a bold statement but Dalloway Terrace is possibly my favourite brunch spot ever! It’s just absolutely gorgeous and the food matches the surroundings too. We had the perfect lazy Saturday brunch and I could have easily stayed there all day! I will definitely be heading back soon to test out the bottomless skinny prosecco and the Afternoon Tea menu, which has been put together by last year’s Bake Off winner Candice Brown and looked absolutely delicious too.

Make sure to pay Dalloway Terrace a visit soon!
